Facilitation services: On time, on task, on target
Overview
While our role shifts from “instructor” to “process manager” during round table and ad board meetings, our focus remains the same: working on your behalf to find out what’s truly on the minds of your participants, relative to your topic, and keeping them involved and focused on the task at hand.
We call it being “on time, on task and on target.”
Our moderators have been trained in the essentials for managing advisory board or roundtable discussions. Foundational to their expertise as moderators are their excellent presentation skills. That may sound like an unnecessary requirement but we are firm believers that a professional communicator in front of a room adds credibility and strength to the process and to the company they represent.
We’ve invested hundreds of hours preparing our moderators/facilitators to:
- Establish meeting tone, objectives and ground rules
- Actively listen and paraphrase input
- Handle difficult people and situations
- Keep focus and meeting momentum
- Generate active participation
- “Weed out” negativity and keep the tone positive
- Maintain control of the room
- Rank order and draw concensus
- Summarize “key learnings”
