EDC Communications Awarded GSA Federal Supply Schedule Contract

Pompton Lakes, NJ – Aug. 9, 2011 – EDC Communications International, LLC, a

leading provider of speaker training and communication skills coaching, announced today it has received a U.S. General Services Administration ("GSA") Federal Supply Schedule contract. This contract gives U.S. Federal agencies, including the Department of Veteran Affairs, the ability to purchase EDC's services in a streamlined manner at negotiated rates. EDC's GSA contract number is GS-02F-0031X.

 

Under the GSA Schedule Program, long-term government-wide contracts with commercial firms are established to provide access to over four million commercial services and products that can be ordered directly from GSA Schedule contractors or through the GSA Advantage!® online shopping and ordering system.

 

The increased visibility and ease of ordering provided by this contract is an important element of EDC's long-term strategy to further the use of its speaker training, message management, executive presentation review and leadership communication services by government customers.


In addition, as a small business with a GSA contract, EDC is a more attractive subcontractor for large organizations who by law are required to outsource a percentage of their government contract work to small businesses.
